GeoEast is an integrated seismic data processing & interpretation software system developed by CNPC Exploration Software Co., Ltd (BGP Research & Development Center). CNPC Exploration Software Co., Ltd is a comprehensive geophysical research institute, focuses on seismic data processing and interpretation method research and software development, and provides geophysical solutions and technical support for the industry. The headquarters is located in Zhuozhou, China, with three sub-centers in Beijing, Chengdu and Houston.
GeoEast provides a complete suite of functions for seismic data processing from pre-processing through depth imaging. With advanced technologies in de-noising, imaging, and multi-component processing, GeoEast is well suited for processing challenging seismic data under complex near-surface/sub-surface conditions. Recent advances include sparse inversion de-blending, OBS processing, Q-tomography/Q-migration, TTI velocity model building, FWI, and least-square migrations.
For on-site land seismic data processing and quality control GeoEast software provides 2D and 3D conventional functions, such as seismic data input and output, Geometry, static correction, pre-stack and Post stack multi-domain denoising, amplitude processing, wavelet and deconvolution processing, velocity analysis, NMO and Stack, 2D and 3D time integration migration, enhance resolution and signal-noise ratio after post stack. Rich data analysis and quality control capabilities to meet the needs of post-stack migration processing and quality control analysis of 2D and 3D on-site data processing, GeoEast software functions can fully meet the requirement of on-site processing technology.
GeoEast is fully flexible and suitable for use anywhere from processing hubs down to a single workstation. With all types of static solution, GeoEast is fully configurable multi-window environment, suitable for multi-screens. It provides a processing server with cluster technology and has facilities to submit a number of jobs at a time, or quickly select and re-run failed jobs. Using GeoEast, geophysicists can directly specify the number of nodes allocated to each job. Its workflow creation system supports automate submission.
GeoEast provides large-scale parallel computing resource management and job scheduling capabilities, multi-CPU and multi-core technologies to distribute serial batch jobs onto a multi-node, multi-CPU, multi-core computer network. It improves the operational efficiency of seismic processing, especially massive seismic data processing.
